  30. Have you been reading Amiga/Macintosh propiganda again?  I think its time for

  32. The P6 is an intel chip which was created not for the average joe.  It was
  33. created to work with true 32 bit operating systems.  Win 95 may be touted as
  34. 32bit, but the truth is, it isn't.  Some of the parts are 16bit.  The P6 runs 16
  35. and 8 bit programs slower.  Thus the probable decrese in speed.  However, there
  36. is another competitor or rather a few who are coming out with a 686.  The Cyrix
  37. 686 is based on the x86 architecture, whereas the P6 is trying to leave it
  38. behind, and has incorporated RISC processing.  However to make it somewhat
  39. backwards compatible, the P6 is also a x86 chip.  Basically 2 chips in one.

  42. well as another guy at Comdex who worked for Cyrix (and no, I don't remember
  43. their names).
